Currently all formal documentation is on track to be finalised and signed off in time for these ratification meetings.  The NZPFU National office will send out the information on the proposed settlement to all members prior to Thursday so all members have the information at the same time and before the ratification meetings.

Please see below the ratification meeting schedule for Auckland:  

Friday 9th December

  • 0900    Auckland City Station
  • 1400    Mt Wellington Station
  • 1900    Albany Station

Saturday 10th December

  • 1000    Avondale Station
  • 1800    Papatoetoe Station

There are a number of meetings each day, and most require travel in between.  Meetings will start promptly at designated time, please arrive 15 minutes prior to sign in and receive your voting paper. Please bring a pen for voting which can only happen at the ratification meeting.

If members are unable to attend a meeting in their own Local but can attend a meeting elsewhere please do so providing you email wellington@nzpfu.org.nz prior for voting verification reasons.

National Vice President Joseph Stanley and National Secretary Wattie Watson will attend all meetings as the National President is away. There will also be the relevant National Committee members at meetings within their Branches as well as Local committee representatives at all meetings to assist.

The ratification votes will be counted at the NZPFU Petone office at 1500 hours on Sunday 18thDecember.
