Members are advised that due to maintenance issues identified by a structural engineer, the hose towers at West Harbour and Glen Eden Stations are closed effective immediately.

Those stations that have hose towers should also ensure that a copy of both the visual and structural inspection certificates are held on site at all times.

If a copy of these certificates are not available, the towers shall be restricted from use and Area Management advised asking for a copy to be provided.

Hose Towers will be discussed with Regional and Area Management at our upcoming engagement meeting to ensure consistency across the three Auckland Areas.

If you have any queries, please contact one of your Local Committee members.
