Election for Auckland Local Committee Members

The election for Auckland Local Committee members closes at 1700 hours next Tuesday (5 July).

At this stage only 46.2% of members have already cast their votes. Many thanks to those members who have already voted.

The Auckland Local Committee has a very important role to fill within the Auckland Local and members are encouraged to ensure they vote before next Tuesday for those members they wish to represent them.

We are behind the other Locals in voting so far. You have just three days left. Please vote now.

Following the close of nominations for the election of the Central Branch positions of Branch Secretary, Branch President and Branch Vice President, I received one nomination for Branch Vice President and nominations for Branch President and Branch Secretary .

Yesterday’s notice (below) from District Commander Mackereth once again highlights the dire state of the Fire and Emergency fleet.

There are currently NO relief aerials available in the country to replace the Parnell aerial that has suffered a steering malfunction.
