Attached please find a flyer from Temoana Biddle of the Ministry of Social Development which we would appreciate each Officer in Charge on duty printing out and putting on your station notice board or similar place for members’ attention.  It has a QR code that links it to the Ministry’s contact page. This can then be easily accessed by members.

Members who may need assistance are encouraged to follow through with the support offered.  By being involved early on, the Ministry aims to reduce the number of people falling into hardship, by providing additional financial assistance in areas like:

  • Accommodation Supplement
  • Food Grants
  • Travel costs
  • Dental
  • Car Repairs

Jeff Shrimpton has met with Temoana Biddle and is happy to discuss anything further with members regarding the services available.
