Reduced Turnouts To Sprinklered Buildings

The Union has received the same advice as contained in the Whole of Country e-mail of 4 June 2009.

The Union has written to the Mike Hall, objecting to both the way in which these cuts in services have been promulgated, as well as the reductions themselves.

Not the least of the concerns the proposed reductions raises is who is to undertake the re-assessment of identified sprinklered buildings, and how this additional new work fits in with existing Business Plans.

The reply from Mike Hall is presently being considered by the Committee and the issue will be specifically further discussed by the Committee and advice to members provided.
