The Union notes that the Fire Service has published their settlement proposal from the CEA Negotiations on Firenet. Once again they show their arrogance by publishing information to our members without first notifying the Union’s bargaining team of their intent.

Notwithstanding this we have also included a copy of this for you to see on our website and attached to this notice.

The Union intends to publish a more full explanation of the contents of the offer and our response to that in the very near future. Members are aware that before any acceptance or rejection of the offer from the employer, the Union will conduct full Ratification meetings at each Local in the country.

Included at those meetings will be comment from the National Committee on what actions are available to members if the offer is rejected.
