Nominations are hereby called from Union Members for Local Committee positions as below:

Proposers and Seconders must be financial members of the Union, and nominations will only be accepted on the Union’s official Nomination Form.

Nominations close on Friday 21st July 1800hrs, 2023 and must be in the hands of the Returning Officer by Monday 24th July 0800, 2023. No late nominations will be accepted.

Candidates are advised that they are entitled to submit, with the Nomination Form, an A4 sheet biography to be published to members prior to voting. Candidates must agree to abide by the NZPFU Charter.

NOTE: All current shift reps need to forward a nomination form if they wish to keep their positions.

We have been told that staff wanting to do Return to Work Duties will have to do them at District HQ and they do not intend to reimburse your travel costs, “you are getting an enhanced pay and you can fund your own travel”. Union calls for Operational Review into Devastating House Fire

Following a devastating house fire in Milldale north of Auckland yesterday the Local has written to the Acting National Commander formally asking for Fire and Emergency to undertake an operational review.
