The NZPFU FENZ collective agreement provides for a annual review of remuneration levels with increases to take effect from 1 July 2020.

That process includes the review of the market data for a select group of  occupations.  This year the NZPFU also produced wage movements for other public service occupations that are not part of the Korn Ferry market data.

As we have not reached agreement, we are now heading to mediation on the 20th October 2020.  We hope to resolve the outstanding issues at that mediation.

Members may have seen a notice that PSA put out to their members this week.  That does not impact the NZPFU negotiations or outcome.

Any agreement between the NZPFU and FENZ will be backdated to 1 July 2020.

In unity,
Wattie Watson
National Secretary
