Internet Payslip Connection Guide |
Summary
The Employee Kiosk is part of
the Fire Service internal web. This means it is not available for
people to connect to at their homes. To enable staff to check their
payslips at home, the Fire Service loads
data to an external site. These instructions tell you how to
access that site.
Costs
There is no cost if you have an internet connection eg via xtra,
ihug, paradise etc. There is no cost to access the web site.
Subscribing
As your pay data is going outside
the Fire Service, the Fire Service requires your consent for this. In the Employee
Kiosk, Work Contact page, tick the WAP/Web box. Only people who
have ticked this box will get their data uploaded and hence be able
to see it via the internet.
You also need to have something in the Text
Number box. If you wish to get texts and have your payslip
available by WAP then but your cellphone number here. If you only
want internet payslips, enter your employee number instead.
For those subscribing to this service, after each
payrun the Fire Service will upload details of your latest payslip to an external
secure website. The data uploaded does not hold any names, nor even
the Fire Service name. It holds your employee number, cell phone
number & kiosk password (to validate your logon) and payment
line items. There are two methods to access your data, via a
cellphone or the internet. This document covers internet access.

The Web Site

Logging In
Enter your Employee Number, Kiosk
password and cellphone number. Remember the kiosk password will be
the one current at the time of the last pay run (monthly or
fortnightly), so if you have changed it since, try the old one.
What’s There
This is a cut down version of
your payslip, it is not the full one that is available via the
Employee Kiosk. This is to cater for those using the same site for
WAP access, as they pay by quantity of data. However it is enough
to check off your overtime. Deductions have not been included at
this stage as they are generally the same every pay. Gross and Net
is available via texting.
